Heyy, everyone!
Prev from podcast episode here are written out the tips I gave for a great start to nailing down a routine that works for you ✅
Getting up between 5-6 AM- This is important to be able to find out what you need in morning: Breakfast, yoga, meditation, watch the news, take a moment to go outside etc.
60 Minutes of exercise- I know this task seems like a lot, but if you break it down into 15 or 30 minute sessions you can achieve this. Leslie Sansone is a professional and you should check her out on Youtube! Or anyone else that you can follow along with 🚶♀️🚶♂️
Lunch Time- Setting a time to make sure you get lunch in, and prepping that meal ahead of time. Your meal doesn't have to be precooked but it can be planned out. You do not want all you lunch time spent on cooking your meal. Or not having what you need in the kitchen when it is lunch time
Functional Office Space- Using items that have more than 1 purpose, the lamp that charges your phone also, pen and accessories holder, printer that fits under your desk, etc. You also want your space to inspire you: getting a plant or fish to put in the office, adding some decor to the walls, seasonal items are a great way to keep it fresh every couple of months!
Setting Boundaries- This is so important! You should talk to the people in your home and explain what and how things should happen between your office hours. Making sure everyone knows when your actually available to them or the house. Who is allow to come in your space when working or how best to get a hold of you for emergencies.
Quitting Time- When it is time to clock out make sure your clocking out and leaving work at the desk! We get work can be stressful and it is hard to split that between work and home when you are working at home! Learn to vent and then let it go, don't take it out on your loved ones o roommates. It essential for your mental health to figure a way to detox from work after work is done for the day.
That's all for today folks! Thanks for staying tuned in with me 😁📰
