Tips for a kick ass divorce party!

Ahh, yes we are going there today! Divorce is down right horrible, whether is was a "good" one or not. Its the end of something you thought would be your end game and it ending up just being a game... SO the next best thing to do is own it and celebrate your next chapter! Celebrate with a divorce party, gather your friends, family, hell invite your ex's! As long as your having a kick ass time that's all that matters!

Now a start to planning a divorce party is the theme everything will be centered around that! I have found a lot of cool ones:

• Bachelorette

• Sex in The City

• Hangover

Once you set that then the extra trivets will follow along! Next would be the atmosphere of the party keeping it all about them but with respects that they were together- Just depends on how it all ending 😎 Speaking of atmosphere the place of the party, either someones house or rent a venue where they can be the in the spotlight for a night!

Play some dating style games, NSFW, or sing alongs to that divorce playlist!

A divorce cake is a must for these parties, and you can get creative with the design. The wedding toppers but the man head first in cake, or cut off completely! Add some catchy balloons around the chair that feature sayings like "end of an error", "from mrs to misses give me them kisses" or vice versa-This is where you could add a sash for the special guest!

Plan to all meet back up a year from now to celebrate the path walked- It's alway great to follow up and gather the group together to check in and see how everyone's doing. This is meaningful to the divorcee that they do have a support group they can lean on!
